SELF CARE
Self Care Week is an annual national awareness week that focuses on embedding support for self care across communities, families and generations.
The Balham Park Surgery Patient Group has worked hard to produce great content to help promote self care. Take a look at their presentation below!
Dr Taryn Walker has also produced a podcast talking about all things related to self care and advice for self care during Covid-19.
Self Care starts at home
Put your healthcare at the forefront of your priorities

Welcome to our new page!
It is important to look after your health and make healthy living choices to minimise the risk of avoidable long term health complications in the future.
This page was inspired and driven by our incredible Patient Group for Self Care Week. Currently you can view the Self Care Presentation created by the Patient Group themselves and listen to a podcast created by Balham Park Surgery GP Dr Taryn Walker.
This page will be added to and will aim to give you self care tips, share experiences and advice from our patients and our GPs and make you aware of local services available.
